Recognizing an underserved demand for a more structured low hiker, we built the Mantra 2.0 as the most rugged and supportive low-cut shoe in our hiking line-up. The Mantra 2.0 utilizes a molded polyurethane midsole. The leather upper provides additional rigidity and support, and protection from inconsistencies of the trail. A Vibram Nuasi outsole gives support. Gore-Tex with extended comfort technology provides durable waterproofing. The Mantra 2.0 makes sure that all hikers get the support they need. Fit Profile: The Mantra 2.0 is built on the Perpetuum last. This last is formed on a straighter line for people with flatter feet, with a broad toe box, tailored instep, and a lower heel volume than the Arc Tempo's medium volume. The last is stable and comfortable for going the distance, and the broad toe box is ideal for endurance activities because it allows the forefoot to expand naturally. A tailored instep locks the foot securely in place to minimize foot movement, reducing friction. The Perpetuum last works great on your feet all day, whether running, hiking, or standing.
